Diana Damauskiene

VAT Administrator, Finance

My Lakeland journey started within the Logistics team at the end of year one of my Accounting Technician course. It was an amazing opportunity to get familiar with a large company and see day-to-day processes up close. I then moved into Accounts Payable where I gained incredible knowledge of the SAP system and developed my time management and communication skills. I learnt from the experts and gained a strong foundation of accounting. In 2022, I moved to my current position as a VAT administrator within Central Finance. It's been an incredible opportunity to work alongside the specialists in the accounting field and advance my skills every day with exposure to a wide range of business-related challenges. This has allowed me to expand my knowledge and complete the required work experience for my Accounting Technician qualification. Altogether, I am very grateful to be a part of this company.

Charlie Clarke

Engineering Apprentice

Since starting my role, I enjoy learning from more experience’s technicians, who have been in their field for several years. I shadow them during the day, in different areas in the factory, but having the opportunity to own and take lead on several smaller projects, that makes my learning more enjoyable. Working with Lakeland Dairies (Newtownards) had enabled me to take step into my engineering career and gain the valuable training, skills that I need to progress in my career, within the company. This experience has led me to win Apprentice of the year award with South Eastern Regional Collage. The atmosphere and the people that I work with, is what I enjoy most. Everybody is always there to give a helping hand. I am excited to continue my growth with Lakeland.
